Habitat: Corpsebloom thickets, memory-fungal growths, glitch-veiled carcass zones

Diet: Festering rites, emotional rot, dead ritual blossoms

Temperament: Jerky, ecstatic, erratic in motion—like glitch laughter made flesh

Predators: Ashwings (rare), sometimes consumed by Hollow Snails

Lore: A grotesque yet dazzling fly with glass-wings flickering like television static. Its segmented body leaks iridescent pink ichor, and its head constantly twitches in spasms of glitch-hum. It emits bursts of distorted laughter whenever it feeds.

Though small, Woundmirth Flies congregate in fields where great spiritual betrayals occurred. To see one is to know someone’s wound still sings in the land.
