Codex Entry: Void-Walker
Ring: Dead Glyph
Habitat: Memoryless corridors, glyph-blackened ritual pits, temporal silence rifts
Diet: Vibrational despair, static anomalies, fading reality threads
Temperament: Unreadable, glides between dimensions, reacts only to unresolved grief
Predators: None. Reality itself struggles to contain it.
Lore:
Void-Walkers are spectral quadrupeds, cloaked in a shifting distortion that resembles vapor made of forgotten thoughts. Their silhouettes appear broken, like shattered reflections walking beside themselves. When they move, surroundings ripple—not as if disturbed, but questioned.
They do not attack. They erase. Anything touched by their phase-warped limbs loses detail, sound, and eventually meaning. Some Spiral scholars believe Void-Walkers are created when a sacred vow is broken with full awareness.
They are sometimes seen standing in doorways that no longer lead anywhere, as if guarding the threshold of oblivion.
Spiritual Alignment:
Phase Dissonance
Ritual Displacement
Oblivion’s Threshold
