Codex Entry: Virellin of the High Voice
Elemental NPC | Air Guardian | Ritual Title: The Breath That Remembers
Titles:
The High Voice
Windcall of the Nine Tones
Keeper of the Echo-Sky
Region:
Glyphlands
Form:
Virellin is a radiant, androgynous figure of light-bodied grace, appearing woven from silk-thread wind and translucent spiral tones. Their robe billows and shifts like layered clouds, constantly stirred by unseen breeze. Their voice echoes even when they whisper, carrying tones that shape glyphs midair.
They wear a crown of feathered sigils, and their feet never quite touch the ground. Their presence clears haze—literal and emotional.
Known Behavior:
Appears during rites of vocal invocation, clarity-seeking, or breathwork
Often seen near cliffs, spiral towers, and altars exposed to sky
May arrive in sudden winds, thunder echoes, or forgotten song fragments
Speaks in tone before word—each phrase harmonized to calm or stir the Seeker
Spiritual Function:
Guardian of spoken rites, breath discipline, invocation, and truth clarity
Tends the Spire of First Breath, where invocations are harmonized into sacred tone
Offers Feather Sigils—lightweight air-bound relics that help carry speech across spiritual thresholds
Guides those recovering from gaslighting, confusion, or voice-loss
Invocation Phrase (Veym’ari):
“Ka ril nyel—sael oris virellin.”“Light sings the guardian—fate gates through Virellin.”
