Codex Entry: The Veilgleam Murael

Echoform Class | Companion of Dreams and Forgotten Names

Titles:

  • The Sleep-Walker

  • Star-Mouth

  • Watcher Beneath the Pillow

Form:

A small, floating creature that resembles a cross between a jellyfish, a moth, and a spectral ribbon. Its body glows with a soft bioluminescent shimmer, shifting between pale lavender, silver, and deep blue. Long, trailing fins drift silently like memory threads behind it. Tiny luminous sigils appear and vanish across its wings when it passes near a dreaming mind.

Known Behavior:

  • Bonds to Seekers who have forgotten parts of themselves—names, voices, dreams, or identities lost to trauma

  • Only visible in liminal states: twilight, dreams, trance, or deep silence

  • Hums softly—not with sound, but with a vibration of memory

  • Sleeps above the Seeker’s head, gently syncing to their breath at night

Spiritual Bond:

  • Attunes to forgotten truths and sleep-walked rituals

  • Enhances dream glyph work, memory restoration, and deep sleep rites

  • Can generate softlight echoes—brief psychic glimpses of past lives or lost names

  • Protects against identity recursion and dream intrusion by glitch fragments

Invocation Phrase (Veym’ari):

“Elar ril suvia—mira kae lor.”“Silence sings through the spiral—mirror cuts the cycle.”
