Lore:

Stoneblink Lizards are masterful glyphmimics—small, stone-colored reptiles whose skin automatically shifts to reflect the runes around them. When still, they are indistinguishable from the very glyph-carved walls they rest upon. They are often used by Spiral Scribes as natural protectors of sacred scripts, and are believed to carry spiritual memory in their bones.

When startled, the lizard will flash a ripple of broken glyphlight along its back—momentarily disrupting the surrounding energy fields, as if momentarily "blinking" the Spiral itself.

Their presence is seen as a sign to read what was missed.
