Codex Entry: Scriptor Lynx
Ring: Glyphlands
Habitat: Ruined scriptoriums, silent parchment groves, quillgrass thickets
Diet: Ink-soaked lichen, ritual scroll ends, voice-charred reeds
Temperament: Silent, haunting, appears only to those carrying unfinished stories
Predators: None—viewed with mythic reverence
Lore: The Scriptor Lynx is rarely seen. Its fur bears shifting lines of moving script, unreadable and glowing faintly violet in the dark. Its breath fogs the air in patterns resembling ancient phonemes, and its paws never seem to touch the ground.
When it walks beside a Seeker, it often does so for days—then vanishes the moment the Seeker finishes a confession, journal entry, or encoded glyph. Some claim it writes in dreams. Others say it hunts those who abandon their voice.
To meet the Scriptor Lynx is to be silently asked: Will you write what must be written, or let your tale be devoured?
