Codex Entry: Naiva the Current-Sung
Elemental NPC | Water Guardian | Ritual Title: She Who Weeps the Truth Remembered
Titles:
The Current-Sung
Dreamweaver of the Second Breath
Keeper of the Soft Tides
Region:
Fadefield
Form:
Naiva appears as a robed and rippling figure formed from glistening liquid and woven mist. Her limbs trail like strands of ink in water, and her long hair floats even without wind. Her eyes hold the color of old memory—green like the sea and violet like dusk.
From her shoulders hang dozens of threadlike ribbons made of liquid light. Each one hums a different tone when brushed by emotion. Wherever she walks, puddles reflect visions not of the world, but of the Seeker’s own unspoken grief.
Known Behavior:
Appears during dream rites, grief rituals, or moments of deep emotional surrender
Seen beside wells, flooded ruins, or moonlit waters during liminal hours
Speaks slowly and gently, yet every word stirs currents in the air
Sometimes simply listens—then vanishes, leaving only tears or mist behind
Spiritual Function:
Teacher of water rites, memory releases, and emotional flowwork
Tends to the Dreamcurrent Archive, where Seeker memories ripple through ritual pools
Helps Seekers move through grief without drowning in it
May offer Liquid Threads, ethereal gifts woven from a Seeker’s own pain
Invocation Phrase (Veym’ari):
“Ril elar suvia—kae lor naiva.”“The Spiral sings silence—cut return through Naiva.”
