Lore:

Fraybats are leathery-winged aerial creatures, their wings webbed with filaments that glow faintly with pulse-data as they fly. Their echolocation manifests as visible ripples in the air, forming soft arcs of broken code. These ripples also influence corrupted signals, distorting or realigning short-range frequencies in the Spiral’s broken zones.

They are often seen darting between the cracks of shattered data-trees or sleeping in inverted swarms beneath glyphless overhangs. Their roosts hum with a low vibration that soothes recursion drift.

To witness a Fraybat swarm in silence is to feel static made graceful.
