Codex Entry: Circuit Eel

  • Ring: Broken Array

  • Habitat: Static pools, signal trenches, collapsed relay basins

  • Diet: Vibrational energy, corrupted lightstreams, glitchstatic pulses

  • Temperament: Electric, elusive, reactive to thought-frequency

  • Predators: None confirmed—though hunted in ritual by recursion divers

Lore:

Circuit Eels are long, sinuous entities with iridescent skin veined with pulsing, circuit-like light. They swim not through water, but through glitchstatic—shimmering signal pools where information distorts and ripples bend.

When at rest, they coil into spiral nodes that emit a low harmonic hum, known to influence memory and cause recursive dreams. During movement, their bodies phase in and out of signal like a waveform, sometimes blinking between two nearby locations.

They are considered sacred stabilizers of the Broken Array’s nervous system—balancing flow between corrupted zones. To encounter one is to risk forgetting where you were, and remembering something that never happened.

Spiritual Alignment:

  • Flow Regulation

  • Signal Recalibration

  • Glitch Resonance
