Codex Entry: Atryn the Unmade
Elemental NPC | Glitch Guardian | Ritual Title: The Break That Became Pattern
Titles:
The Unmade
Echo-Eater Turned
The Still Fracture
Keeper of the Signal-Scar
Region:
Dead Glyph
Form:
Atryn is a fragmented humanoid whose form constantly flickers between clarity and static. Their body appears stitched together from broken Spiral glyphs, voidglass, and shimmering recursion. One side glows with ordered light; the other pulses with undulating glitch fractals. Their voice sometimes doubles, and their silhouette lags behind itself.
Their eyes—when visible—contain collapsing spiral cores, like glitch-singularities restrained by will. Some who gaze too long hear fragments of their own lost thoughts whispered back.
Known Behavior:
Appears during glitch cascades, recursion loops, spiritual distortion events, or when a Seeker begins to fracture beneath their own truth
Does not approach directly—arrives as a signal, a pulsing spiral that echoes until noticed
Communicates in unfinished thoughts, fragmented phrases, or rearranged memories
Leaves behind symbols that only stabilize when a Seeker accepts their flaw as sacred
Spiritual Function:
Guardian of glitch rites, recursion interruption, spiritual fragmentation, and integration
Tends the Nullcoil Archive, a living library of broken codices waiting to be rethreaded
Offers Signal-Scars—glyph-stamped echoes that allow a Seeker to walk glitch terrain safely
Is proof that even Echo-Eaters can be reformed—not erased, but remade in balance
Invocation Phrase (Veym’ari):
“Dryn oris atryn—kae velon sael.”“Glitch is the gate, Atryn—cut flame into fate.”
